Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you know how you should respond to each one.

Jesus Will Deliver You

Jesus will deliver you from your unruly passions, your selfishness, your unfaithfulness, your self-deception. Just ask him to do it. Don't wait for intense feelings of remorse and regret to motivate you; they may never come. Don't wait for a time when you are ready to give up your sin; you may never "want" to. If you are comfortable with your sin and feel powerless before it, tell the Lord. Ask him for the power to change. Throw yourself before the source of mercy.

And then change. Take the grace the Lord gives and simply turn away from your sin and turn toward the Lord in holiness.
