Life Is Too Short

Life is too short. Whatever it is you are mulling over in your heart, whatever pain it is that has gripped your memory, check it out. Pick up the phone. Write a letter if you feel more comfortable or if you are too shy to confront it directly; whatever way you choose is okay. But make sure you know what is really going on. Jesus does not want you to bear a self-imposed cross. Your own cross is heavy enough without your adding misunderstandings and self-inflicted wounds to it.
